Johnny Cash had a hard scrabble life before finding success in country music songs that focused on the underdogs of society. By 1968 he had hit tough times and needed a hit to revive his career. The boys get together to discuss sweating bullets on stage, authoritative delivery, and the bottom three strings on the guitar.
